What is Women's Aid?
We are a registered charity providing information and safe refuge accommodation to abused women and their children

Confidentiality
Any Approach made to Women's Aid is confidential. We would only contact other agencies, on your behalf, if you agreed except where it was deemed a child protection matter.

Who is an abused woman?
Any woman can be abused. She may be your mother, daughter, sister, friend, client, neighbour... YOU!

What is abuse?
Abuse is any form of ill treatment - it may be emotional, sexual, physical or a combination of all three.

Are many women abused?
Around 1,000 women contact Clackmannanshire Women's Aid each year. each year Women's Aid in Scotland have over 40,000 calls from women needing support and information.
