WHO WE ARE

The Association was formed in 1905 to ensure the availability of Trout fishing for local people and to act as a pressure group to protect the river environment.
We presently offer fishing on approximately fifteen miles of the River Devon from below Castlehill Reservoir down river to the Tullibody/Menstrie Bridge, and the bank fishing on Glenquey Reservoir.
We offer wild Brown Trout fishing on all the waters we control, although we also operate a supportive annual stocking policy. Brown trout season 15th March to 6th October.
Our Salmon and Sea Trout fishings extend from a quarter of a mile below the Cauldron Linn down river to the Tullibody/Menstrie Bridge. Salmon/Sea trout season 15th march to 31st October.
Our aim is still to offer angling to all, and to protect and enhance the environment of the River Devon Valley.
