The Council is seeking voters' views on their local polling place as part of a review.
Over the summer period, Council staff are conducting a review of all polling districts and polling places within the county. Comments and suggestions from any interested individual or representative group are welcome.
Clackmannanshire Council is holding a public meeting at Devonvale Hall in Tillicoultry at 7pm on Thursday 3 July. As part of Scottish Biodiversity Week 2008 the [link=http://www.clacksweb.org.uk/biodiversity/]Clackmannanshire Biodiversity Partnership[/link] and [link=http://www.clacksweb.org.uk/environment/countrysiderangerservice/]Countryside Rangers[/link] are joined by the [link=http://www.fifeaircadetsconservationgroup.co.uk/]Fife Air Cadets Conservation Group[/link] and the Clackmannanshire Conservation Action Team (CAT) to tackle the rhododendrons at Woodland Park between Alva and Tillicoultry.
The event runs from noon – 3pm, with volunteers welcome to come for all or part of the day. Volunteers should meet at the car park at Woodland Park. Tools will be provided. Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing are required.
