Scottish Biodiversity Week 19th – 25th May

As part of Scottish Biodiversity Week 2008 the Clackmannanshire Biodiversity Partnership and Countryside Rangers are joined by the Fife Air Cadets Conservation Group and the Clackmannanshire Conservation Action Team (CAT) to tackle the rhododendrons at Woodland Park between Alva and Tillicoultry.rnThe event runs from noon – 3pm, with volunteers welcome to come for all or part of the day. Volunteers should meet at the car park at Woodland Park. Tools will be provided. Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing are required.

Help Clean Up the Devon Way

Call for volunteers to help clean up Devon Way. This year the Clackmannanshire Biodiversity Partnership and Countryside Ranger Service have organised a litter pick along the Devon Way between Alloa and Tillicoultry on Saturday 26th April from 10am – 1pm. Volunteers should meet at the car park at the rear of the Leisure Bowl, Alloa.
